Finding a photographer in a country where you don’t speak the language is more work than it should be. With me it’s simpler: I’ve been photographing international teams in the Netherlands for years, and I work in English, Dutch and Spanish. Whichever language your colleagues are most comfortable in, that’s the one I use with them.
I’m a corporate photographer working on-site across the Randstad, for teams from 5 to 200+ people. You arrange a room and fill in the names; the briefing and the schedule come ready-made from me. I handle the rest — including the colleagues who dread being photographed.
Years of experience with international teams
Most offices I photograph in the Randstad have colleagues from all over the world. Some have been here for decades, some arrived last month, and plenty of teams switch between languages in a single meeting. I’ve worked that way for years.
I work in English, Dutch and Spanish. Not just for the paperwork — for the conversation in front of the camera, where it actually matters. Someone who’s already nervous doesn’t need the extra discomfort of not quite following what’s being asked.
You choose the language for everything else. The first call, the proposal, and the briefing your employees receive: English or Dutch, whatever suits your organisation. If your team is mixed, I can supply the briefing in both.
A ready-made schedule. You fill in the names, nothing else. Timing and sequence are already worked out.

Why almost everyone finds it nerve-racking — and why that’s not a problem here
Once the practical side is sorted, there’s one thing left that decides whether the photos are any good.
Nearly everyone says they aren’t photogenic. That’s not the exception, it’s the rule. And it’s exactly where things usually go wrong: a tense face produces a photo the person doesn’t recognise themselves in, and that photo then stays on the website for years.
So I work the other way around. The reassurance doesn’t start on the day — it starts weeks earlier. Your colleagues read my briefing, know who I am, what’s going to happen and what to wear. The other half I take away with attention. I take time for everyone, even with seventy people on the schedule. Efficient, but never rushed. I look at who someone is — what sets them apart from their colleague, where their strength lies. The portrait appears the moment someone forgets the camera is there.

How I prepare your team

I introduce myself briefly, so people already know me a little by the time they step in front of the camera. It sounds like a small thing, but it works: familiarity removes tension. Available in English, Dutch, or both.

How a team shoot works
1. Preparation
We agree on planning, timing and the look you’re after. I supply the briefing and the schedule; you share them with your team.
2. On location
I come to you with mobile studio lighting and backdrop, and handle the setup entirely myself. No travel time for employees, no lost productivity.
3. The shoot
Calm, personal guidance for each individual, in the language that suits them. Clear direction, no forced poses. I powder everyone against shine under studio lighting — men and women alike — and a quick professional make-up touch-up is available.
4. Editing and delivery
You receive the images within a few working days, with a light and natural finishing touch. A blemish or a cold sore I remove as a matter of course — nobody needs to worry about that. Ready to use across your website, intranet, LinkedIn, presentations, press and employer-branding campaigns — with a consistent professional look throughout.

More than a corporate photographer
I’m Daniëlle, a portrait photographer. I’m also a qualified make-up artist, and I’ve always been fascinated by psychology and what makes people tick. I enjoy working with all kinds of people, and I connect easily with just about anyone — which is exactly what this work asks for.
Someone who finds it nerve-racking doesn’t walk into a studio with me — they walk into a conversation. I welcome people warmly, compliment them on what they’re wearing, put them at ease. Often the tension is gone before the camera comes into it at all. What I hear most often after a day of shooting is that people are lifted by the energy I bring. And honestly: I get just as much back. That’s why, after twenty years, I still think this is the best work there is.
